The four-star HL Rio Playa Blanca aparthotel is located in the resort of Playa Blanca, 600 metres from the beach, 1.6km from the centre of the resort and approximately 33km from Lanzarote's international airport. The hotel's construction is low-rise, consisting of welcoming gardens and delightful, whitewashed buildings, with many of the apartments and bungalows enjoying excellent views across the ocean toward Fuerteventura.
There are 190 accommodation units at the HL Rio Playa Blanca, made up of spacious one or two bedroom apartments and bungalows. The décor within each is tasteful and inoffensive, while the furnishings are of the highest of standards. Everything you are going to need to feel right at home is included, such as a complete bathroom with shower and hairdryer, an American-style kitchenette with fridge and microwave, direct dial telephone, room safe and satellite TV. Every apartment has a private furnished balcony and the bungalows have private furnished terraces.
The hotel's grounds are decorated throughout with tropical plantlife, and the numerous shaded pathways invariably converge on the inviting pool area which consists of two swimming pools (one of which is a separate kids' pool), an ample sun terrace, numerous sun loungers and a poolside bar. Additional leisure facilities offered by the hotel include tennis, table tennis, petanque and aerobics.
For meals, guests can obviously cater for themselves in their spacious kitchens or decide to sample the fare offered every meal time at the buffet restaurant, which caters for all dietary requirements and offers show cooking during the week. The lobby area has an additional bar and an internet terminal.
