Beatriz Playa is a large four-star hotel located directly on the beach in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote's most popular holiday resort. The hotel offers 404 rooms in total, consisting of 372 family guestrooms and 32 suites, decorated in a bright and colourful fashion, with tasteful furnishings throughout, including modern en suites with hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, mini bar and large private terrace.
The garden and sun terrace area is decorated with tropical plantlife, dotted with plenty of complimentary sun loungers and centred around two large swimming pools, a children's pool and the pre-requisite poolside bar. Additional bars can be found within the elegant lobby area - 'La Barqueta' is a piano bar serving cocktails in a chic atmosphere, and 'Mindanao' offers live music and comfortable seating. For meals, the large air-conditioned buffet restaurant has generous dishes, themed menus and show cooking ever meal time; the pool bar serves snacks and light lunches throughout the day and the Italian restaurant - open in high season - serves, somewhat surprisingly, Italian cuisine.
A recently opened thalassotherapy spa will soothe all aches and pains, while the tennis court, gymnasium and mini golf will serve to keep guests occupied during the day. Additional facilities include three conference rooms, high speed internet access, a shopping gallery, onsite parking and 24-hour reception.
